Mahkatop — Police Commissioner Yayang Rizky Pratama, the initiator of the Polnabereborn movement, is determined to make this initiative beneficial for the community. Previously known as Polnabe (Police Planting Chili), the movement focuses on community empowerment.
Commissioner Yayang, an alumnus of the 2008 Police Academy (Akpol) and previously stationed at Asahan Police Resort, now serves as the Chief of Medan Baru Police Sector at Polrestabes Medan, Polda Sumut. In this position, he has evolved Polnabe into Polnabereborn, reflecting his commitment to delivering broader benefits.
The Polnabereborn initiative is based in Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia District, and involves various stakeholders such as student activists, students, journalists, and local heads (Kepling). The primary focus of this initiative is the cultivation of catfish using pipe tarpaulin pools and the breeding of maggots from Black Soldier Fly (BSF).
Commissioner Yayang stated, “Through the Polnabereborn movement, I aim to be a person who is beneficial to many.” He also emphasized, “The best person is one who is beneficial to many” as the principle driving his efforts in initiating Polnabereborn. (*)
